At a small cafe near the Sea in Portugal, they pulled cards from a tarot deck, clumsily figuring out what they meant. The cards became a starting point, a shared set of symbols, ideas and observations. They built their own narratives and visual language around them, exploring how meaning emerges through play, interpretation, and collaboration.
This exhibition reflects that process. The work of these four artists is joyful, playful and bold. Full of color and pattern, looking for symbolism with a wink. Pulling cards, experimenting together and making sense of what found mirrors how the four artists create as a collective: attentive to detail, curious, and open to unexpected connections that guide through their work.
